My main beef with the game is what you said- "Since you can't move while shooting, or seek cover, you have little choice but to walk up to the enemy and try to kill them faster than they can kill you. This rather bland interaction is made worse by the fact that your enemy may not even be on the screen when they start to shoot at you"

I wanted to be able to creep up on enemy patrols by observing their patterns etc, but as you say, it ends up being more a case of killing them before they kill you in a bullet frenzy- a lot of the time with the enemy off screen. Not good.

I was going to pick this up, but don't think I'll bother now from the sound of the cumbersome controls. It sounds like a 'Tap to move, Hold to fire' control method would work, though obviously I haven't played to see.

Oh well â€" plenty else to spend my money on!

And again it's just you having a problem with a great game.
People, don't listen and get this game, which is nearly for free.
I'm sure, you will love it like most of its players.
This is a little Cannon Fodder for your iPhone / iPod Touch,
full of love, a lot of humor and it's veeeery polished. A steal!

Actually, most reviews I have seen have been pretty middle-of-the-road, which is where our stance is.

I agree with you on this one Tim, the whole just seeing who dies first thing really got annoying. I erased it about 10 minutes after I downloaded this. Whew, good thing it was only a buck!
